Grooming

(Cats)

Cats are very clean animals and take a lot of pride in their appearance, therefore they will spend a lot of time grooming.  Some cats may find this harder than others if they have a longer coat, are older, or have medical conditions that prevent them from easily cleaning.

Although I do not have any external qualifications in grooming, I have learnt the skills required whilst practising as a veterinary nurse.

I will groom your cat for comfort and medical reasons and this will be carried out in your own home. Grooming sessions will include the following as required;

  • Clipping matted fur.

  • Removal of dead fur to prevent matt build up.

  • Trimming areas prone to dirt build up.

  • Nail clipping.

  • Coat clean, using pet friendly wipes.
